Veteran's Day

The 8th grade had a busy day with assemblies, rehearsals and a little work to break up the day! We began the day with a very touching Veteran's Day assembly. This was followed by Chapel in the MPR led by Pastor Mueller (it was raining, so we didn't make the trek to the church). After chapel, we followed our chapel day schedule. Spelling Test, Memory Test and Writer's Workshop filled the Language Arts classes.

Assignments:
  • Language Arts: Johnny Tremain Chapter 10 due on Monday; Book Report due on November 17.
  • General Math: Accelerated Math Today
Have a great Weekend!

Book Reports

Reminder: Book Reports are due on November 17. Due to ELVIS Day and the Thanksgiving Break, no late reports will be accepted. Check on the link above or in the links column to see the complete set of guidelines that was distributed to the students several weeks ago.

Wednesday, November 2

On the first Wednesday of each month, our chapel service is a traditional experience in worship. Today we sang the familiar Reformation hymns and learned about the work of Martin Luther.
